Tethered vs. Untethered

Tethered: When your device reboots, you must re-jailbreak and re-bypass it using a computer. Otherwise, you won't be able to use the device.

Untethered: When your device reboots, the jailbreak and bypass persist, allowing you to use the device as before without needing to reapply the jailbreak.

Steps to Jailbreak and Bypass

Step 1: Download the Jailbreak ToolDownload the jailbreak tool "iFrpRa1n V1.3" (link provided at the end of the post).
Run "iFrpRa1n V1.3" as an administrator.

Step 2: PreparationEnsure that iTunes is installed on your PC.
Connect your iOS device to the PC in Hello Screen mode.


Step 3: Register ECIDOnce connected, the tool will display your device's model, mode, and ECID number. Copy the ECID number.
Click on the blue text "Free ECID Register" within the tool.

You will be redirected to a website. Enter the copied ECID number and click "Submit.

A message saying "Congratulations, you have successfully registered your ECID" will appear. This means you are ready to jailbreak.

Step 4: Jailbreak ProcessRestart the jailbreak tool and select the "Rootfull" option, then click "Start."

Follow the on-screen instructions to press specific buttons.

Do not press any buttons when the message "Device entered DFU mode successfully" appears.

The jailbreak process will start automatically. Do not disconnect your device until you see "Jailbreak Done."

Step 5: Tethered BypassOpen the "TetheredBypass_FRPFILE" tool as an administrator.

Connect your device in Hello Screen mode.
The tool will display various details about your device. Ensure "Jailbroken" shows "YES." If it shows "NO," restart the tool.

Click the "Activate" button in the tool and wait for the process to complete.

Once "Factory/Activated" appears, you have successfully bypassed the device.
